"Sometimes, it isn't always..." Rukia pauses, trying to find a way to phrase herself accurately. It's not an easy task, trying to weave around different people with different motivations; it becomes even more complex when one looks across different species, different societies. "Sometimes, it isn't always the predator that's dangerous or means harm. It can be submitting that does the most damage."

She exhales softly, shaking her head. "I'm not trying to judge, but old habits die hard. These are the kinds of situations I was — maybe am still — supposed to look after," Rukia explains.
