"I don't know," Rukia muses, glad to fall into a relaxed smile again when Andrea nudges against her arm. Poor as she may be at truly understanding how girl talk naturally works, months of living in Karakura have given her a fair ability to fake it. Beyond which, Andrea doesn't seem like the type to judge Rukia for a slip-up now and again.

She's just proven that, actually.

"If you think something's complicated... then it is. Even if you find out that the solution isn't as hard as you thought it'd be, it's still complicated," she says. "Dare I ask how?"
